In 2007, with a newborn in our arms and an uncertain future ahead, we found ourselves at a crossroads. The subprime mortgage crisis had hit hard, and like so many others, we lost our day jobs overnight. Up until then, our website agency had been a side business, something we started in 2004 and worked on late at night, fueled by passion and the hope that one day it could be more. Suddenly, that one day became today. We had no choice but to turn our small venture into our full-time livelihood.

We had always been drawn to the possibilities of technology. One of us specialized in back-end development, building the invisible structures that make websites run seamlessly. The other had a gift for front-end design, creating digital experiences that were both visually appealing and easy to navigate. Together, we had the skills. Now we had to prove we could build something lasting.

At that time, many local businesses still relied on word-of-mouth and outdated advertising. Few recognized the value of a professional website, and even fewer had the time or know-how to create one. We saw that gap and knew we could fill it. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, we poured our energy into meeting with business owners, explaining the power of an online presence, and delivering websites that helped them reach new customers and grow.
